About the role
Caregivers at Laurel Place prepare healthy homemade meals for seniors.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals to residents
- Assist with meal preparation and food service tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas
- Follow safety protocols and food handling guidelines
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass a criminal background check
- Able to perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 35 pounds
- Current Food Handler’s Permit or willing to obtain one before hire
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Dietary Aide or in an assisted living environment is a plus but not required
