Dietary Aide

About the role

Caring Places Management is seeking a full-time Dietary Aide to join the team at South Beach Manor, a memory care community in South Beach, OR. This position offers a varied schedule and a starting wage of $17-$19 per hour, with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve nutritious meals to residents - Assist with meal preparation and food service tasks - Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas - Ensure compliance with health and safety standards - Collaborate with other care staff to support resident care plans

Requirements

- High School Diploma or equivalent - Age 18 or older - Successful completion of a criminal background check - Current Food Handler’s License - Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and lift up to 35 pounds - CPR/First Aid certification (optional but preferred)

Qualifications

- Passion for caring for seniors - Strong organizational skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

- Proficiency in basic kitchen operations - Attention to detail - Ability to follow recipes and meal planning guidelines
