About the role

Blakehurst is a Life Plan Community located on a 40-acre campus in Towson, MD, near Baltimore. We enrich the lives of over 300 seniors through opportunities for residents to live life to the fullest.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves meals in the various dining rooms.
• Transports hot and cold foods to and from the health center.
• Aids in cleaning and sanitation tasks.

Qualifications

• Create positive interactions with seniors.
• Follow instructions, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
• Understand measurements and plan/organize work.
• Interpret diet orders and specifications.
• Previous experience in senior living food service is preferred.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay and Schedule

• Full-time positions available, 5 days a week including weekends.
• Part-time positions available, requiring flexibility in working hours and weekends.
