Dietary Aide

Job Summary

Beecher Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation seeks a dedicated Dietary Aide to enhance the dining experience for our residents. The role involves serving nutritious, palatable meals and performing various tasks to ensure a welcoming and engaging mealtime environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals that are nutritious, palatable, and visually appealing
• Auxiliary in meal service in a timely and organized manner
• Ensure food is served according to portion control procedures
• Perform daily cleaning duties following facility policies and procedures
• Set up meal trays, food carts, and the dining room to enhance the mealtime experience
• Prepare and deliver snacks and additional dietary items as needed

Requirements

• Availability to work weekends and some holidays
• Ability to push, pull, move, and lift at least 25 lbs. and carry items a minimum distance of 50 feet
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and work at a fast pace with attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills
