Dietary Aide

Core Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean and sanitary work environment at all times.
• Serves food on tray lines, clears line, labels, dates, and properly stores all food items and cleans work area.
• Makes sure supplies are checked, received, and stored properly as assigned.
• Maintains refrigeration and food temperatures according to quality control guidelines.
• Prepares special function requests under the supervision of the Cook.

Skills, Knowledge, And Abilities

• Plans and organizes workload effectively for food preparation and service.
• Prepares an adequate amount of food for assigned meal service.
• Ensures preps are completed and leftovers are used correctly.
• Performs all styles of cooking positions as needed or assigned.
• Checks, receives, and stores supplies properly as assigned.
• Monitors and documents refrigeration and food temperatures.
• Fulfills special function requests.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education and experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must have a current negative TB test or medical clearance.
• Must meet qualifications for fingerprint clearance.

About the Role

Aurora Behavioral Health System is a 138-bed free-standing psychiatric inpatient hospital and outpatient program located at 6350 S Maple Ave Tempe AZ 85283. We are committed to providing high-quality care for adolescents and adults with a wide range of psychiatric conditions and chemical dependency.

Competitive compensation is offered.

Schedule

The position is full-time with a flexible schedule from 11:30 AM - 7:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

This is a Full-time position at our Tempe Aurora Behavioral Health Location.
