Dietary Aide

About the role

At Aspire Senior Living New Florence, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our residents in a welcoming, home-like environment. We are seeking a compassionate and team-oriented Dietary Aide to join our dietary team and enhance the dining experiences of our residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving meals according to dietary guidelines and residents' preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and equipment, following health and safety protocols.
• Engage with residents respectfully, addressing their dietary needs and preferences with a friendly attitude.
• Adhere to all dietary procedures, facility policies, and state/federal regulations.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior experience in a dietary, kitchen, or food service role, especially in a long-term care or healthcare setting, is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• The ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment is required.
