Dietary Aide

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and team-oriented Dietary Aide to join our dietary team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a critical role in enhancing residents' dining experiences and supporting their nutritional well-being. This full-time Evening position offers a competitive hourly rate of $15 per hour, and the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving meals according to dietary guidelines and residents' preferences
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and equipment, following health and safety protocols
• Engage with residents respectfully, addressing their dietary needs and preferences with a friendly attitude
• Adhere to all dietary procedures, facility policies, and state/federal regulations

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Prior experience in a dietary, kitchen, or food service role is a plus, especially in a long-term care or healthcare setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Ability to lift up, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment
