Dietary Aide

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at AdviniaCare Newport. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents. Responsibilities

• Follow therapeutic diet cards as ordered by the physician
• Ensure proper serving temperature of food and beverages
• Deliver meals on a timely basis
• Maintain visual appeal of food and emphasize the use of garnishes
• Adhere to daily nourishment lists and stock nourishment stations
• Assist the cook in monitoring meal serving times
• Adhere to sanitation and storage policies and procedures
• Perform other duties assigned by the dining director

Specific Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Must be able to follow oral and written communication
• Maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, and maintain the appearance of dining service areas
• Perform regular inspections of dietary services areas for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned duties
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm
• Must be willing to handle residents based on their current maturity level
• Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and incorporate them into existing dietary practices
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
