Job Summary

As a Dietary Aide at Accolade Healthcare, you will join the culinary team, serving food to residents, visitors, and employees in a friendly and professional manner, while providing outstanding customer service. You will also assist with food preparation, delivery, and cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tray line with napkins, wrapped silverware, trays, lids for plates, and placemats.
• Complete food prep for tray line and cooler.
• Puree food as needed.
• Place food and beverage items on trays according to meal requests or physicians' orders.
• Stock carts with ice water and iced tea for lunch.
• Load and deliver cards to various areas of the Facility, including individual resident rooms and group dining rooms.
• Complete food prep for the next day.
• Serve lunch on tray line.
• Check dates and rotate stock as required by facility policy.
• Clear tables and sanitize tables and tabletop items.
• Empty carts and take out trash.
• Wipe inside and outside and fronts of carts with sanitizer solution.
• Clean coffee pots and other kitchen equipment.
• Clean up kitchen and wash dishes.
• Prepare kitchen and dining rooms for the next meal.
• Answer kitchen phone as needed.
• Perform other related work as required or requested.

Requirements

• High school diploma or the equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work with and serve a variety of people is required.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team are required.
• Reliability is required.
• Must be able to work a weekend and holiday rotation.
• Food Handlers Certification is/will be required.
