Dietary Aid
Job Summary
The Dietary Aid is responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals and snacks to our residents. This is a full-time position that requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of food for residents, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and fruits
- Help with food service, including serving and clearing tables
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to strict sanitation and safety standards
- Restock supplies and inventory as needed
- Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and prepare special dietary meals for residents with specific needs
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and staff members
- Participate in food safety training and maintain accurate records of food temperatures and storage
