About the role

INTEGRIS Health, Oklahoma’s largest not-for-profit health system, is seeking a dedicated caregiver to join us in our mission to partner with people to live healthier lives.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all daily activities in the tray-line, dish-room, and patient care areas necessary for the preparation and serving of all patient meals and nourishments
• Ensures all food items, supplies, and serving utensils are obtained as necessary for tray assembly
• Assembles trays per patient menu selections and standard portions as specified
• Delivers trays and food carts within established time frames
• Supervises delivery and retrieval of patient meals, including late trays
• Communicates with nursing staff concerning any issues relevant to patient meal service and takes appropriate action
• Processes diet orders and assists patients with menu selection
• Ensures all meals adhere to specific nutritional restrictions and medical requirements
• Performs menu management, patient and caregiver communication, kitchen coordination, tray tracking, and clerical & quality control
• Assists in other areas of the food services operation during down times

Qualifications

• Sufficient education to read, write, comprehend, and carry out directions
• 6 months of work experience related to menu categories, tray checking, equipment, and operation procedures preferred
