Diet Clerk (Nutritional Services) - FT/64

About the role

The Diet Clerk will follow all departmental procedures in the preparation of diets for all patients, ensure timely completion of departmental functions including catered functions, prepare the salad bar, make sandwiches and put up desserts for the cafeteria, and coordinate schedules and activities of designated shifts, assisting as needed.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year on the job training in food service
• Two (2) years’ experience (preferred)
• Basic knowledge of Nutrition Therapy
• Certified Dietary Manager course (preferred)
• Basic computer knowledge; proficient computer skills (preferred)

Qualifications

• Completed three (3) Nutrition Therapy sessions with the Registered Dietician

Pay

The base rate for this position is $19.50- $23.00 per hour. The hourly range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The rate for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.

Schedule

The hours for this position are 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM and includes every other weekend and rotating holidays.
