Responsibilities
- Review and update physician diet orders in the hospital’s EHR to ensure each patient receives meals matching their prescribed diet
- Assist patients with menu selections, print and distribute menus, and make substitutions when necessary
- Communicate diet change, allergies, and preferences between nursing units, dietitians, and kitchen staff
- Enter and maintain meal orders, admissions, and discharges in the dietary computer system to keep records accurate
- Ensure diet accuracy, follow food safety standards, appropriate temperatures of patient trays, and support quality checks within the nutrition department
Qualifications
- County Specific Food Handlers certification required upon hire and maintained current
- Average of one (1) year of healthcare experience working with modified diets

Shifts Available: Days
Hours: 12-hour shifts – 6:00am to 6:00pm
Schedule rotates bi-weekly
