Diet Aide
Assists in preparation and service of food for patients or patrons. Performs cleaning and sanitation functions. Performs other tasks as necessary in support of the department.
Responsibilities
- Assists in preparation and served food to patrons, using proper portion size and method of service.
- Operates cash register in accordance with hospital and department policy and procedures.
- Assists with stocking and cleaning throughout the shift.
- Adheres to sanitary regulations when handling food and equipment and maintaining.
- Adheres to Hospital and department policies/procedures regarding attendance, uniform, personal hygiene and job duties.
Requirements
- Assists in other dietary department functions.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to keep accurate records.
- Proficiency in English language.
- Work may require fair amount of dexterity and mobility.
