Responsibilities
- Work with Registered Dietitian in ensuring resident nutritional needs.
- Plan and prepare resident meals.
- Provide baking, cooking and nutrition-related groups.
- Plan and participate in restaurant outings and delivery for some meals.
- Monitor and order food and supplies.
- Check food logs/diaries daily to ensure patients are following meal plans provided by Registered Dietitian.
- Implement and monitor sanitation and kitchen safety protocols.
- Maintain and monitor emergency food supply; ensure protocols are followed.
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to have an impact on people’s eating disorder recovery.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition or currently enrolled in an accredited Dietetics or Dietetic Technician program.
- Experience: Knowledge and experience in the field of eating disorders treatment preferred. Food service or related experience preferred.
- Must be available to work weekends.
