About the role
As a Diet Aide at BHC Alhambra Hospital, you will assist in preparing and serving meals to patients, maintaining cleanliness and organization of dining areas, and performing other related tasks as assigned.Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements and hospital protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas.
- Assist with meal distribution and patient care as needed.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in food service or related field preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License.
- Current CPR certification.
Skills
- Attention to detail.
- Physical stamina for standing and moving throughout the day.
- Basic computer skills for managing inventory and scheduling.
