Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medium- to heavy-duty fleet vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
• Accurately document repairs and complete work orders
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including your tools and equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support fleet operations

Requirements

• 3+ years’ of hands-on experience performing diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs on Switchers and/or Trailer repairs
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role
• Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position (detailed below)

Qualifications

• Ability to successfully pass a DOT physical if required for the role

• Physical demands: Lifting heavy objects, accessing tight spaces, bending, stooping, crouching, or crawling as needed to complete repairs

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Frequency: Weekly pay - every Friday
• Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 / Hr DOE
• Schedules: Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday
• Shifts: 700 am - 330 pm - Diesel 300 pm - 1130 pm - Trailer 1100 pm - 730 am - Trailer
