Amerit Fleet Solutions, a leader in fleet maintenance across the U.S., is hiring a skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join their team in Franksville, WI. The position offers competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medium- to heavy-duty fleet vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
• Accurately document repairs and complete work orders
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including your tools and equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support fleet operations

Requirements

• 5+ years’ of hands-on experience performing diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position (lifting heavy objects, accessing tight spaces, bending, stooping, crouching, or crawling)

What We’re Looking For

• Eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical (if required)
