Diesel Technician - Up to $10k Sign-On Bonus

About the role

Lew Thompson & Son Trucking is now urgently hiring Diesel Technicians. We offer competitive compensation starting at $20.00 per hour, with the potential for a sign-on bonus up to $10,000. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair various truck components
• Perform routine maintenance on trucks
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines
• Communicate effectively with other team members and supervisors

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid CDL license
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in diesel mechanics
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Knowledge of common truck systems and components
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Technical knowledge of diesel engines and related systems
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
