Diesel Technician - Mobile - Pendleton, OR !
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, inspect, maintain, and repair commercial vehicles and equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and field service repairs.
- Diagnose medium and heavy-duty diesel truck issues independently.
- Perform electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and OEM service information systems.
- Complete work orders and repair documentation accurately.
- Follow manufacturer specifications and company safety procedures.
- Maintain a professional relationship with customers.
- Participate in ongoing technical training.
- Drive Mobile Truck to customer locations to perform service work.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of fleet, diesel, heavy-duty truck, or dealership technician experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record (safety sensitive position).
- ASE certifications and CDL preferred.
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.
- Must possess own tools.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform repairs in physically demanding positions.
