Diesel Technician / Mechanic - Coburg, OR

Diesel Technicians at Gordon Truck Centers dealerships lead the charge in workmanship, commitment to safety, and providing reliable, first-class service to customers across the Pacific Northwest.

Responsibilities

• Run diagnostic tests and analyze results.
• Repair or replace vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems.
• Determine unit condition by conducting inspections & diagnostic tests, identifying deficiencies.
• Develop technical skills through training opportunities.
• Test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications; make necessary adjustments if required.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the shop.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of engines, transmissions, differential, A/C and suspensions.
• Ability to read schematics for electrical and air systems.
• Mechanics frequently lift up to 75 pounds and must have a full complement of tools.
