Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and diagnosing complaints without any assistance
• Repairing and installing truck/engine equipment
• Completing jobs assigned within the departmental established time frame
• Maintaining a level of 98% return – free work
• Pickup and delivery of service-related items and/or customer vehicles
• Reporting any problems and/or concerns within the service environment to the Service Manager and/or Assistant Service Manager
• Providing guidelines to, and answering questions from, less experienced shop employees
• Attending training classes as required
• Studying shop/service materials and manuals as they relate to your job
• Performing all other duties as assigned

Requirements

• A minimum of three to four years’ experience in heavy duty truck/engine repairs and installation is required
• A valid driver’s license is required. A CDL and DOT medical card is mandatory if vehicle is to be driven off of dealership premises
