Diesel Technician Helper-Obtain a CDL

Responsibilities

• Assists in the maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and other mechanical systems of motorcoaches.
• Adheres to safety protocols and guidelines while working in a shop setting.
• When necessary, assists with the safety, maintenance, cleanliness and of the shop.

• Requirements

  • Minimum of one year’s mechanical experience in the diesel or automotive industry.
  • Availability for 1st shift training with flexibility for 2nd shift work including holidays and weekends.
  • Valid NYS driver's license.
  • Strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to learning.
  • Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  Trailways of New York, a prominent family-owned intercity bus company established in 1926, is currently seeking skilled Automotive and entry-level Diesel Technicians to join our team at the Pine Hill/New York Trailways Fleet Maintenance Facility in Kingston, NY.

  Starting annual salary $47,300.00

  Schedule

  Availability for 1st shift training with flexibility for 2nd shift work including holidays and weekends.
