Diesel Technician

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and repairing various diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. Duties include diagnosing issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems of diesel engines
• Perform preventive maintenance checks and repairs
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines
• Communicate effectively with clients and other team members

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in automotive repair
• Knowledge of diesel engine operation and repair

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good physical condition to perform manual labor

Skills

• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals
