Diesel Technician

Job Summary

Diesel Technicians work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean places with friendly faces. They troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, assist customers with roadside services, and provide preventative maintenance services.

Job Functions

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Absorb and assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Maintain a safe and customer-focused work environment
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical
