Diesel Technician

Alliance Used Truck Center is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join their team in Hartford. As a division of Freightliner of Hartford, they offer a premier working environment with a focus on professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty trucks.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and complex after-treatment devices.
• Maintain a general understanding of all heavy-duty truck systems (brakes, suspension, electrical, etc.).
• Collaborate with management to suggest improvements to shop workflow and business operations.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years working on heavy-duty trucks.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of diesel engines and emissions/after-treatment systems.
• Tools: Must possess a personal inventory of tools required for the trade.
• Mindset: A desire for continuous learning and a team-oriented attitude.

Pay

The pay range is $28.00 to $40.00 per hour, based on experience. Monthly Tech Incentive Program (Up to $1,000/month additional).
