About the role

Freeway Fleet Services is a family-owned company established in 2016, specializing in top-quality truck repairs and maintenance. Our mission is to ensure our clients' vehicles remain operational and safe, offering services like preventative maintenance, mechanical repairs, mobile services, roadside assistance, and full-service repair.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs.
  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic issues in diesel engines, heavy trucks, and equipment.
  • Perform services such as engine repairs, brake work, fuel system maintenance, transmission service, and other general diesel repairs.
  • Operate diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.
  • Provide clear, accurate estimates and explain repair needs to customers.
  • Maintain accurate service records and parts usage documentation.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to build strong client relationships.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a diesel technician.
  • Preferred ASE Medium/Heavy Truck Certification(s) or OEM training.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, drivetrains, fuel systems, and diagnostic procedures.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL a plus).
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Proven work ethic, reliability, and a track record of job stability.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with customers.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow under management coaching.

Pay

$30.00 - $45.00 /Hr.

Schedule

Flexible schedule to accommodate both day and night shifts.
