Responsibilities
- Performs work as outlined on repair orders, adhering to dealership and factory standards.
- Diagnoses and repairs any malfunctioning engines and components.
- Communicates with the parts department to obtain necessary parts.
- Saves and tags parts for warranty claims or customer requests.
- Examines vehicles for safety and service needs.
- Documents all work performed and recommends additional services.
- Road tests vehicles as required.
- Attends manufacturer-sponsored training programs and stays updated on technical bulletins.
- Supervises apprentice technicians as assigned.
- Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisors.
- Maintains a clean and organized workspace.
- Notifies service advisors of any changes in vehicle appearance or condition.
- Maintains dealership-owned tools and manuals in good condition.
- Complies with federal, state, and local regulations regarding safety and environmental matters.
- Operates tools and equipment safely and reports any safety concerns to management.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screening
Pay
$24.00 - $38.00 per hour based on experience
Schedule
Hours vary based on department needs and shift availability.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in automotive or related field preferred
- Knowledge of diesel and gasoline engine industrial trucks
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to perform manual labor and operate heavy equipment
