Responsibilities

• Performs work as outlined on repair orders, adhering to dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnoses and repairs engine malfunctions, obtaining necessary parts from the parts department.
• Saves and tags parts under warranty or as requested by customers.
• Examines vehicles for safety and service needs, communicating with service advisors if additional work is needed.
• Documents all work performed and recommends further action on repair orders.
• Road tests vehicles as required, participating in manufacturer-sponsored training programs.
• Supervises apprentice technicians, ensuring compliance with dealership policies and procedures.
• Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisors and maintains a clean shop area.
• Ensures tools and manuals are returned in good condition and reports any safety issues immediately.
• Maintains knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations and operates equipment safely.
• Completes other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Five or more years of experience in automotive repair.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screenings.

Pay

$18.00 - $38.00 per hour based on experience.
