About the Role

Diesel Apprentices work in a fast-paced environment maintaining clean, welcoming spaces and interacting with customers and drivers to improve their travels and day. No professional experience is required—training is provided.

Apprentice Program Learning Objectives

• Electrical diagnostics and repairs
• Air conditioning and heating diagnostics and repairs
• Wheel end assembly diagnostics and repairs
• Air system diagnostics and repairs
• Air brakes diagnostics and repairs
• Charging system diagnostics and repairs
• Basic computer diagnostics and auxiliary component replacement
• Parts lookup and acquisition

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with roadside services
• Learn and perform preventative maintenance services
• Move and lift 75+ pounds, working in close quarters
• Work in various temperatures
• Prioritize customer safety and satisfaction while complying with company safety policies and procedures
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night shifts as needed
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)
