About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Technician to join our maintenance team at our Strafford, MO shop. The Diesel Technician will maintain and repair diesel vehicles and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines to ensure optimal functionality
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in diesel-powered equipment
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work conducted
• Stay updated with the latest diesel technology and repair techniques
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in diesel technology preferred
• ASE certification preferred
• Considerable experience in diesel repair and maintenance
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
