About the role
Our Truck Service team is comprised of nearly 3,000 highly skilled technicians and spans coast to coast. With over 280 locations across the country, TA Truck Service has a solid foundation and a forward-thinking vision.
Responsibilities
- Provide accurate, efficient service to customers by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy duty trucks and trailers in a professional and accommodating manner.
- Ensure we are returning every traveler to the road better than they came!
- Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on providing great service where the expectations of the customer are exceeded.
- Have extensive knowledge of the products we sell and the services we provide.
- Diagnose wear conditions and together with TSA or Manager, make recommendations to customers.
- Complete repairs within their capabilities and as written.
- Understand Truck Service Standard Services and specialized customer programs.
- Follow safety guidelines and report potentially unsafe situations caused by team members and/or customers.
Requirements
- A dedicated individual who works well with others and is excited to be part of our team!
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior verifiable truck service experience preferred.
- Heavy duty ASE certifications not required, but a plus.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays in interior and exterior conditions.
- A valid driver’s license.

Pay
Pay Range: $35.00 - 37.00 per hour.
The pay will depend on various factors, such as responsibilities of the position, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills.

Typical Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to talk and hear.
- Standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, bending over, crouching, crawling, climbing, and repetitive use of legs are done occasionally.
