About the role
Responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems in vehicles and machinery. They perform routine inspections, troubleshoot mechanical issues, replace faulty parts, and ensure engines operate efficiently and meet safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Repair and Maintain Mobile Equipment: Service, repair, adjust, and test all mobile equipment to maximize performance and limit downtime.
- Inspect Equipment and Materials: Inspect all mobile equipment to identify and troubleshoot the cause of errors and perform repairs to address problems when necessary.
- Handle and Move Objects: Handle, install, position, and move parts, materials, and industrial hand tools in a safe manner throughout the shop and plant.
- Document and Record Information: Ensure correct and accurate documentation is completed daily and monthly regarding all mobile equipment.
- Operate Equipment: Assist in driving heavy equipment and vehicles throughout the plant to ensure production continues efficiently.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience working on diesel or heavy construction equipment is required.
- Additional vocational/trade school training in a mechanical field.
- Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and company demands.
- Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
- Must have knowledge of industrial tools, their uses, and maintenance.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

Pay
The hourly range for this role is between $26.03 - $39.05. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package.
Schedule
Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and company demands. Travel will be required overnight as business demands.
