Diesel Mobile Mechanic/Fleet Technician- $100k+ full service & tooled trucks included

About the role

Hill International Trucks, a leading medium- and heavy-duty truck and trailer dealership in the Tri-State area, is seeking Diesel Technicians to support its mobile maintenance department in New Philadelphia and Canton, Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain diesel engine trucks according to dealership and factory specifications.
• Diagnose and perform repairs based on work outlined on repair orders.
• Communicate with the parts department to obtain necessary parts.
• Saves and tags parts for warranty or customer request.
• Examine vehicles for safety and service needs.
• Document all work performed and recommended on repair orders.
• Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs.
• Report machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned vehicles.
• Ensure proper storage and return of dealership-owned tools and manuals.
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations related to safety and environmental concerns.
• Operate tools and equipment safely.
• Report any safety issues immediately to management.

Requirements

• 2-3 or more years of experience as a diesel technician.
• Some computer skills preferred.
