About the role
We are seeking an experienced Heavy-Duty Vehicle Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, reefer units, and related equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on critical systems such as brakes and steering
- Ensure compliance with regulations and document all repairs and parts used
- Provide road call services and install onboard computers
- Use hand and power tools for routine and complex repairs
- Troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems
- Train other employees as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 5–7 years of relevant experience
- Expertise in vehicle diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, A/C refrigeration, and component repair
