Diesel Mechanic Technician A

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Heavy-Duty Vehicle Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, reefer units, and related equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on critical systems such as brakes and steering
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and document all repairs and parts used
  • Provide road call services and install onboard computers
  • Use hand and power tools for routine and complex repairs
  • Troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems
  • Train other employees as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience
  • Expertise in vehicle diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, A/C refrigeration, and component repair
