Role Overview Responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, reefer units, and maintenance vehicles, ensuring compliance with trucking regulations. Must document work accurately, communicate effectively with team members, and perform road call services as needed. Key Responsibilities Perform minor repairs, component inspections, and identify root causes of failures on fleet diesel equipment.Inspect and maintain brake systems, steering, wheel bearings, and other critical parts.Ensure equipment licensing and registration are current for roadworthiness.Complete detailed documentation of repairs and maintenance using online systems.Install, replace, and repair onboard computers and electrical components.Utilize hand and power tools for routine maintenance, repairs, and installations.Train other employees and perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.5+ years of proven experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair, including diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and A/C refrigeration for at least 2 years.
