Diesel Mechanic - Fleet Technician B
Position Responsibilities
- Accurately inspect, repair, and complete routine preventative maintenance of fleet equipment, including standard component inspections and repairs.
- Complete necessary documentation for repairs and maintenance while maintaining accurate records of work performed, parts used, and repairs/inspections completed through the online AssetWorks system.
- Vehicles and fleet equipment.
- Learn and assist diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
- Adhere to all company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations including DOT, OSHA, and Reyes Fleet Management standards, while ensuring compliance with safety programs, correct selection and use of appropriate tools, PPE, machine guarding, and established best safety practices.
- This position requires driving Reyes Family of Businesses, including fleet equipment, it is regulated by the DOT and requires a current driver qualification file to be maintained as required by the role.
Required Education And Experience
- A High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) with 2 plus years of related experience.
- At least 18 years old.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles.
- Ability to frequently lift, push and/or pull weights in excess of 50 pounds, occasionally lift, push and/or pull weights in excess of 100 pounds.
Preferred Education And Experience
- Technical School Certification.
