Diesel Mechanic - Experienced-

Four 10 hour shifts- 4 day work week
Join the world’s largest equipment rental provider, United Rentals, as a Diesel Mechanic - Experienced (Service Tech IV).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools.
• Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer owned equipment, maintaining a clean and professional service vehicle.
• Train lower level technicians as needed.
• Document work performed in a complete and timely manner.
• Assist with the pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• 5+ years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
• Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.
• Own tools applicable to position.
• Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Frequent lifting of items up to 45 lbs.

Pay

$31.20 - $49.90 per hour
