At AFC Transport, we’re looking for a skilled diesel truck mechanic to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and basic repairs on trucks and trailers
- Assist with diagnosing mechanical issues and performing repairs under supervision as needed
- Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors
- Keep your work area clean and follow all safety guidelines
- Help ensure our drivers’ trucks stay safe and on the road
Requirements
- Experience performing maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks or similar equipment
- Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and commitment to safety
- Valid driver’s license
Compensation
Based on experience/knowledge starting pay ranges from $30 - $50/hour based on experience
