Diesel Mechanic - Compact Equipment (Burnsville)

Tri-State Bobcat is seeking a reliable, experienced diesel mechanic who takes pride in quality work and is committed to long-term stability, support, and growth.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of compact construction and heavy equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure top-notch performance
• Order parts and maintain inventory as needed for repairs
• Communicate job progress with the service manager and ensure customer satisfaction
• Inspect and test equipment after repairs are completed
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of work orders, parts, and labor
• Uphold safety standards and keep work area organized and efficient
• Participate in company-paid training to stay current with new equipment and technology updates (including limited out-of-state training)

Requirements

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, safety-minded technician who works well independently.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic
• Valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Pay

$29-$39/hr, based on experience and certifications

Schedule

Full-time | Monday Friday 8:30am 5:00pm | Rotating Saturdays 8am - 12pm
