About the role

woodallgrain is seeking a dynamic and experienced Grain Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling and managing grain inventory, with a focus on quality control and efficient storage.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload grain from various sources, ensuring proper segregation and quality control.
• Store grain in designated areas, maintaining appropriate temperature and humidity levels.
• Perform regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Handle paperwork and recordkeeping related to grain transactions and movements.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize warehouse operations and minimize waste.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in grain handling or similar field.
• Knowledge of grain handling procedures and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Experience with forklift operation.
• Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
