About the role
We are Now Hiring a Diesel Mechanic in Scarborough, Maine!
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs to ensure vehicles are safe for our customers.
- Diagnose and perform all phases of vehicle and equipment repair, including the repair of brakes, engine tune-ups, suspensions, drive trains, transmission clutches, and other repairs accurately.
- Ensure work orders are completed properly and accurately.
- Maintain records of all maintenance work completed, including parts and supplies used.
- Complete preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
Requirements
- A valid CDL B driver’s license w/ Air Brake & Passenger Endorsements is required within 6 months of hire.
- 3+ years of verifiable professional diesel repair employment experience or a combination of education & experience.
- Must have appropriate mechanic’s tool set.
- ASE certifications are preferred.
- Must participate in company ASE certification program (company training, testing, and bonuses provided!).
- Subject to DOT drug testing.
Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Skills
- Proficiency in diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Competitive compensation package of minimum $24.50 - maximum $30.00
