Maintenance and Repair
You will serve as a critical asset to our fleet maintenance, ensuring the reliability and safety of Tracktor-Trailers and mobile cranes. This role gives you the autonomy to manage complex technical repairs while directly supporting structural steel projects that shape Southern New England. You will work in an environment that values your technical expertise, offering direct support from a leadership team dedicated to your long-term professional growth.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Proven professional experience working as a Diesel Mechanic on heavy equipment or commercial fleets.
- Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with complex hydraulic systems.
- Demonstrated technical proficiency in repairing, diagnosing, and servicing heavy-duty air brake systems.
- Capability to interpret technical manuals, fluid schematics, and mechanical blueprints independently.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Formal technical training or completion of an apprenticeship program focused on diesel mechanics.
- Previous experience maintaining machinery specifically used in structural steel or industrial construction.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior shop helpers or mechanics in safety practices.
