Diesel Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Job Description Engine diagnostics and repair
• Preventative maintenance
• Brake and suspension work
• Transmission diagnosing, removing and rebuilding
• Electrical troubleshooting, wiring and repairs
• Hydraulic systems, pumps, cylinders and valves and hoses
• Fabricate hoses
• Proficiency with welding, torches etc.
• Roadside emergency
• Onsite diagnostics and repairs

Requirements

• Dependable Over 3 years of hands-experience working on diverse equipment such as semi-trucks, light duty trucks, cars, construction equipment and forklifts
• Dependable, detail-orientated, and committed to minimizing downtime and keeping equipment road-ready
• Comfortable working independently in the field
• Own tools
• Valid driver’s license, CDL a bonus
• Able to work flexible hours, Overtime as needed
• Customer service skills
• Able to work as mobile service when needed
• Capable of managing long active hours in workshop setting
• Bending, lifting of heavy parts and physical work involved
• Exposure to outdoors in varying weather conditions
