Responsibilities
- Detect and resolve mechanical and electrical issues with diesel engines.
- Replace and repair defective parts like fuel systems, brakes, and transmissions.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and tire rotations.
- Test drive vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Keep detailed records of work performed.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of Diesel Mechanic experience preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification from a diesel mechanic program is preferred.
- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and their components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills.
