Diesel Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Detect and resolve mechanical and electrical issues with diesel engines.
• Replace and repair defective parts like fuel systems, brakes, and transmissions.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and tire rotations.
• Test drive vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Keep detailed records of work performed.
• Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of Diesel Mechanic experience preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification from a diesel mechanic program is preferred.
• Proven experience as a diesel mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines and their components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills.
