Diesel Mechanic
About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking a Diesel Mechanic at their Milton, FL Service Center. The role involves daily maintenance and repairs on Class 8 trucks, trailers, and potentially forklifts.
Responsibilities
- Maintain trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, dollies, and perform welding as needed.
- Handle both preventative maintenance and major repairs on diesel engines.
- Work with AC and electrical systems as required.
- Lift up to 50 lbs as part of the job.
- Use Cetaris for work order management.
- Perform trailer preventive maintenance and repairs.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
- Experience with Cummins and Detroit engines.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Own tools for the job.
- Preferred experience with trailer PMs and repairs.
Qualifications
- Must be able to handle major repairs.
- Must be able to handle trailer PMs and repairs.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must have own tools.
- Must have experience with Cetaris for work orders.

Pay
Earn up to $37.60/hr.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday - Friday, 3rd shift from 12:00 am to 10:30 am.
