JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on heavy-duty diesel trucks and/or equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance (oil changes, brakes, inspections, etc.).
- Repair/replace major components including engines, transmissions, turbos, and differentials.
- Use diagnostic software (Cummins Insite, Detroit Diagnostic Link, OEM tools).
- Complete service documentation for repairs, parts, and compliance.
- Communicate repairs and recommendations to customers and internal teams.
- Follow all safety standards (OSHA, DOT, company protocols).
- Maintain tools and equipment for daily operations.
Qualifications
- 2+ years working on diesel trucks or heavy equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with diesel engines, electrical systems, and diagnostics.
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
- Experience with OEM diagnostic tools preferred.
- Basic welding/fabrication a plus.
- Valid driver's license required (CDL preferred).
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in shop conditions.
