Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance services within acceptable standards.
- Diagnose, repair, and replace external engine components.
- Test and repair entire truck chassis electrical systems.
- Become proficient in the repair of all major power and drive train components.
- Perform PM inspections and services according to DFL policy and time standards.
- Repair, adjust, and align suspension systems and brake systems.
- Maintain the tire maintenance program according to DFL policy.
- Perform service calls according to DFL guidelines or individual location guidelines.
- Wash and fuel equipment when necessary.
- Perform vehicle road tests to ensure quality repair service.
- Develop skills to become a leading participant in the care and upkeep of the shop, grounds, and equipment.
- Record all work and labor on a computer in the EMS system.
- Work with the Parts Department to maintain necessary materials and supplies.
- Comply with all Parts Department procedures and rules.
- Continuously improve processes.
Qualifications
- Possess a valid Driver's License.
- Basic math skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Pass a drug screen.

Physical Demands
This position requires the ability to perform routine physical tasks associated with equipment maintenance and repair in a Service Center and Shop environment.
