Diesel Mechanic

About the role

As a Diesel Mechanic with Capitol Tower & Communications, Inc., you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, conducting thorough inspections, and collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient and safe operation of diesel-powered equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with diesel engines and their associated components.
• Conduct thorough inspections of diesel-powered equipment to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure all equipment is operating efficiently and safely.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed on diesel engines.
• Perform in-depth mechanical repairs with a focus on Ford Power Stroke light duty trucks.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Diesel Mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment for diesel engines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• You have your own set of tools and equipment needed for the position.

Skills

• Skilled in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines.
• Focused on Ford Power Stroke light duty trucks.
