About the role
As a Diesel Mechanic with Capitol Tower & Communications, Inc., you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel-powered equipment such as trucks, generators, and heavy machinery.Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with diesel engines and their associated components.
- Conduct thorough inspections of diesel-powered equipment to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure all equipment is operating efficiently and safely.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed on diesel engines.
- Perform in-depth mechanical repairs with a focus on Ford Power Stroke light duty trucks.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Diesel Mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment for diesel engines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
